Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves.
We are both working moms. There are four, soon to be five, kids between us. Our lives are messy, so we’re right there with you. We don’t have it all together, not even close. What we do have is a commitment to ourselves and our families to live lives that are authentic, awake, alive and active. It’s a journey and it’s guaranteed to be lifelong, but we have gotten to a point where we are sick and tired of being sick and tired– and, we have decided to do something about it!
We have teamed up and have combined our background and expertise in the psychology of motivating others to make lifestyle changes with a background in medical and nutritional science. Through several years of combined experience in working with others, we have learned to really hear where people are struggling with their health and have also become passionate about helping them meet their goals. We believe that our bodies are self-healing and truly see people holistically rather than simply reducing their health to a cluster of symptoms to be treated with medication or surgery. Based on individual needs, we provide support to the whole person using food as medicine.
We really care about you and want you to feel good and to be your best version of you! We will meet you where you are and support you each step of the way to reach your health goals through nutritional and lifestyle choices. We will work to get to the root cause of your difficulties—for example, instead of taking more pain meds, we might ask you to consider why your body is inflamed in the first place.
You’ll never hear us asking you to count calories, engage in excessive amounts of exercise, or to make drastic changes all at once. Instead we emphasize food quality versus quantity; eating real, nutrient-dense foods as opposed to processed ones; improved digestive health; making small changes over time, and attending to additional areas of your life that may need upgrading, such as increasing the amount of time you spend playing and having fun, improved sleep quality, stress management, and time devoted to self-care!
So, where do you fit in?
We work with stressed out women who are struggling with their health! We will support you in achieving a healthy and balanced life, particularly those of you who fall into one of three groups: (1) women who are having difficulties getting pregnant, (2) women who are pregnant and feel bad, or (3) moms who are struggling because they are frazzled, can’t lose weight, or are too busy taking care of everyone else to take care of themselves.
